Andy Parsons @ Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton (Thursday 16th May 2013)
Tickets are £15
One of Britain’s most loved comedians and live performers is coming to the Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton. Andy Parsons is mostly known for his work on Mock the Week, but he is also a prolific and highly regarded performer on the stand up circuit. He began his career in television with Spitting Image; he is now a regular panel member on the nation’s most popular panel shows QI and Mock the Week, but his live show is guaranteed to have you in stitches.
This is Andy’s fourth live tour. To date, he has already embarked on three nationwide sell-out tours. In 2009, he released his debut DVD ‘Britain’s Got Idiots’ which was followed up by ‘Gruntled’ in 2011. The Guardian calls Parsons one of the live circuits “greatest exponents” of “sharp, topical comedy” The Times believes his “lethal mixture of anger and ridicule leaves the Big Society in tatters”
He is notable for his work in television, radio and podcasts, but it’s his stand-up that brings the man himself to life on stage. He is a regular at both comedy festivals and shows. His brand of down to earth, topical and political comedy makes him a favourite with all audiences. His upcoming tour should be his best yet and you’d have to be a fool to miss it. Tickets are £15.00 and are available at Midland Box Office by telephone on 08703207000 or online at http://www.wolvescivic.co.uk
